‘LOVE: TOGO’ is an app that aims to cultivate, in public commuters, a sense of gratitude and appreciation for local public transport workers. In Singapore, public transport is a key part of everyone's lives. With an average daily ridership of 3.5 million citizens, for both public buses and MRT lines, public transport has become a key component of how efficient the country is.

In Australia, the act of saying “thank you" to the bus captain when alighting the bus was the source of inspiration for me. This act for all public transport workers acknowledging how they work tirelessly everyday for the service of others, is what I hope to bring out of this project.

This project, therefore, aims to cultivate the general public to show their gratitude to public transport workers through a phone application, addressing the need for local public transport workers to be appreciated by all commuters.
