Waste Go Where? is a campaign to raise awareness about the waste management crisis in Indonesia as well as the issue of illegal waste imports that happens in small villages in Indonesia. This campaign is a response to the failure of waste sorting that leads to recyclable waste ending up in the landfills, as well as illegal waste import issues which causes more pollution and contamination to the environment.
This campaign aims to raise awareness, induce a new habit among younger generations in Indonesia to properly sort plastic waste, and increase recycling rates of local plastic waste instead of recycling imported waste.
Waste Go Where serves as a prompt for people to think about where their waste should go and where it will end up, while encouraging them to take action in handling illegal plastic waste imports.
