Breda is a concept identity for a home bakery that serves fresh eggless bread daily in Singapore. We all know that eggs are always one of the core ingredients needed in baking, including bread; however, not everyone can consume eggs freely. A study found that egg allergy is the third most common cause of food-triggered anaphylaxis among adults in Singapore, after peanuts and shellfish. Not to mention, it is also the most common food allergy among local children under 3.
With this solution, Breda also sees an opportunity to serve those with a vegan lifestyle in Singapore. Although considered one of the most vegan-friendly countries in Asia, it is still hard to find places that offer eggless baked goods.
And thus, Breda is born. Aim to cater to the bread needs of people who don’t consume eggs. We want to enable people to enjoy bread despite their limitations.
